CPR & First Aid Course for Parents
Thursday May 10th, 6-9pm
Want to learn (or refresh) your CPR skills? Do you know what to do in an emergency? We believe every parent should be prepared to act, and strongly recommend this basic course, which covers a variety of situations and scenarios.
The class is brought to PlayLab by Resuscitation Basics, which is a healthcare education service created and taught by pediatric ER nurses- they've seen it all!
The training will focus on CPR techniques on adults, children, and infants, as well as some basic first aid basic skills for parents. Completion of this class will earn CPR Certification.
This is a hands-on course: you'll get to practice important skills in CPR and first aid that you may need someday. Whatever the situation may be, Resuscitation Basics' goal is to prepare parents with the appropriate skills so you can take action when needed.
Do you have specific questions on particular first aid topics (especially for children)? Bring them to the class; you'll have the chance to ask your instructor.
The cost is $90, though we offer this class at a discounted rate of $80 to current PlayLab members (click here to become one!) Limited space available; we recommend registering ahead of time.
